It’s a good distinction to keep in mind. There is only so much you can do on blog posts, but I think the ‘beyond consumerism’ question will have to include lots of changes to social and economic structure that were slightly beyond the scope. Maybe the key is to go backwards in values and practices but forwards in systems and structures….or maybe that’s not even possible. But I’ll keep the distinction in mind.
